The Zeeland Historical Society welcomed the Holland Modular Railroad Club who set up their model trains and model railroad layouts at the New Groningen Schoolhouse on Paw Paw Drive in Zeeland.
The doors were open at various times Friday through Sunday and scores of visitors stopped by to learn about model trains and explore the two-room schoolhouse with their families and friends. They were also able to try out some of our old fashioned toys and picnic in the park-like setting outside.
The Holland Modular Railroad Club is the same group that hosts the annual train show at the Howard Miller Library in Zeeland during the Christmas season.
